Across more than three decades of building, McDowell Homes has completed many challenging and rewarding projects.
One that stands out is a renovation at Wanda Beach in Salamander Bay for Camp Quality.
The project transformed the property into a retreat where families experiencing childhood cancer could take a break from treatment, relax together and create positive memories.
For Trent and Emma, it remains one of the most meaningful projects they have worked on.

Trent founded the company in 1993, and Emma joined him full-time in 2001. We have over 30 years of local building experience and have spent more than two decades building bespoke homes as a team across the Port Stephens and Newcastle regions.
What qualifications does the team at McDowell Homes have?
Trent completed his Carpentry Apprenticeship locally in 1992, followed by a Clerk of Works in 1993, and is a Registered Building Practitioner (Class 2). Emma completed her Cert IV in Building & Construction in 2001.
